Beltane and Fresh Beginnings

Beltane is definitely a time for new and fresh beginnings.... and so far, I'm off to a good start.
Today, I got the last of my bills from WV taken care of. I got my GI Bill money, finally. School's going well, even if I am only a couple days into it. Got a call back from a place that is looking for help picking weeds and gardening on their large property.
One beginning that I haven't been as consistent with has been my Grateful Moments. And starting today, I vow to take the time, every day, to come up with at least one thing to be grateful about. *heads up* I might not post them all here, but I definitely will post it on GJ.
Today, I am grateful for clean endings.

altar picture

I mentioned somewhere a while ago that I would take a picture of my altar and share it once it's all set up. So here it is:
The long, skinny picture on the window sill is a classic Japanese Mt. Fuji drawing - it spoke to me and has traveled the world with me since I picked it up.
The stick in front of the picture is a piece of smooth driftwood that I found on the beach in Diego Garcia. That, too, has traveled the globe with me since I found it. I will probably use it as a wand in the future.
The 'straw doll' and 'sunflower' are actually ceramics that I painted while visiting Robert's family in TX.
The black bag is my runes.
The 'Easter Island head' statue in the middle is my physical representation of Spirit for now. I bought it without knowing why - didn't take long to realize, though.
There are a few things that I normally would have on my altar, but the fire fairy has broken wings (I didn't pack her well enough), and the other things aren't here yet.
The red and yellow book underneath is The Answers. It's my favorite divination tool at the moment. My BoS (multiple editions) sits underneath.
